Furniture - Types & Build Qualities
Every piece of furniture has its own story, and every restoration or rebuild is unique. Here’s a simple guide to what different types and fillings typically cost.
Foam – The most economical option, providing comfort and practicality. Perfect for everyday use when budget is key.
Ultraflex – A modern and sustainable option; made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. It’s a resilient filling with bounce and longevity, and strikes the ideal balance between comfort, durability, and value whilst providing an eco-conscious choice.
Horsehair – The luxury option which is naturally breathable, incredibly long-lasting, and a true heritage choice.
Frame repairs – often wobbly joints or replacement of damaged parts, is carried out in-house by experienced craftsmen. We can only assess the need for repairs after the previous upholstery has been removed.
