A bold and glamorous makeover has been given to this beautifully carved Jacobean-style decorative chair. The frame was a bit ‘wobbly’, but not surprising given its age.  Gordon knocked it apart, re-glued all the joints, so it was good and strong again.

Reupholstered using a decadent emerald green silky velvet fabric from Fryett’s, a bold pop of colour from Designers Guild, coupled with some pink popping magenta braid. Not for the faint-hearted but a great opportunity to have as a statement piece in any dull corner of your home.
