A ‘massive headboard’ in a gorgeous glamping pod

Needle Rock loves bespoke commissions, and we are delighted to have been commissioned to create a very large and unique headboard for the Rusty Boathouse glamping pod. This is one of two glamorous glamping pods by the Pantcefn Luxury Glamping Group based in Llanarth, Ceredigion, West Wales.

What exactly is glamping? It is quite literally ‘glamorous camping’.  Glamping enables you to experience the beauty of nature without having to pack large amounts of camping gear (including the kitchen sink!)

With difficulties in travelling abroad over the past couple of years due to Covid, there’s been an increase in people holidaying at home. Glamping has become immensely popular, with many different solutions being offered to make the traditional holiday under canvas that bit different. From treehouses, shepherds’ huts and cabins; yurts, bell tents and cosy camping pods and everything in between – the choice is yours.

The glamping pods offer a home from home feel with added luxury such as hot tubs, a private jetty and incredible panoramic views.

Glamping promises the happy screech of kids running around the picnic table, the heart stopping second you let go of a river swing, or the late-night murmur and clink of bottles round the fire.  It also offers the romance and seclusion if you wish it in the perfect location of the luscious Welsh hills.
